Hi, everyone. I have a chance to get my hands on a DP Stormfront and Platinum Arceus sealed booster boxes. How much they can cost on the open market and is it worth to buy them to keep or re-sell?
Stromfront is a little more expensive than PlatArc at around USD 390-400 per box
PlatArc is a lil bit cheaper at USD 320 and beyond. Check ebay or high end sellers on E4.
they are not as scarce as EX series booster boxes because pokemon revitalized the TCG in Diamond and Pearl eras.
None the less I think they are something good to keep as I see people gaining attention with Lv. X cards recently. They might go up in price if the demand is present.
On the topic of keeping and re-selling. Buy it and hold it for a while: I mean 5 years a while. I would recommend keeping it, as i said before that it ‘might’ go up in price.

If you had to choose between the two I would definitely go for Stormfront. The Base Set Charizard line reprints are great chase cards. Nostalgia wise, that set had some of the most powerful cards in the TCG at the time, which could help its value as the individuals who played during that time get older and want to relive their childhood. Definitely a solid set.
