STOLEN - Charizard EX Power Keepers PSA 10 - 45380548

This is what a friend of mine who messaged the seller got. Why would he ignore and block people? Not sure about this …

I posted this just to make people aware that there might be some truth to this, but it is ultimately up to the seller to deduct whether this is bs or not.

On his Instagram… first off… that’s an indicator of some sketchy business… he says: I don’t even live (their) anymore, and also being accused of (steeling). Not to be blatantly judgmental but if he isn’t even using proper basic spelling I have a hard time not seeing the person being of the scamming variety.

Surely a crime rather than just an eBay issue?

Fraud/Theft.

I don’t think that grammar itself is relevant at all (just to keep this discussion unbiased in case the seller really isn’t the one we claim him to be). Half of the population would be of ‘scamming variety’ then

I am just implying that if I began an interaction with someone who tried to refer me to their Instagram and used poor grammar for a valuable item I would shy away from any sort of business interaction.

So you buy a card, ship it to an X location. You never notify the seller about moving out or anything, when the seller tells you a signature will be required for a card you bought in pandemic and that naturally it will be delayed you reply “oh ya I dont live there anymore”. Seller lost 700 usd cos Ebay refunded you, seller asks if you stole it and then you block the seller. Period. You dont try to find a solution, you dont want to contact the persons living there to get what you paid for or just to help the seller get his card back. When confronted about this you also block these persons. If this is what a “trusted” and “reputable” member of the community looks like, then we are all doomed.

To “why haven’t you notified the seller” the buyer replied:

@shizzlemetimbers - How long did it take for the item to arrive after the buyer bought it? If this was less than a month then what the buyer says doesn’t add up.

I advise the seller, if this goes any further, to require the buyer to prove that he has lived at the given address.

@goonhoon don’t try to defend this guy. He bought it on 5/10, it was delivered on 5/30. He saw tracking didn’t update and took the opportunity to get a refund. He probably isn’t actively trying to scam anyone, but I wouldn’t want to do business with such a dishonest person.

My bad. I confused ‘buyer’ with ‘seller’. Edited

I am saying what you just said:

If the item took 20 days to arrive then what the buyer says does not add up. If the item shipped on 10th of May and he received it on the 30th (after 20 days) then why would he ask for refund after that (he said a ‘month in’ - 30 days) if he still lived at the address? And if he did not, why did he not notify OP that he moved within 3 weeks of buying and when the item is still on its way?

To be fair the signature looks like it came from a kangaroo and I do believe they have those down under…

But this guy is super sketch, can barely communicate with written word.

He posted a few posts on his IG regarding the issue.

I still don’t think the whole refund and moving out timing makes sense but I am considering the possibility of USPS screwing up hard.

Also since the item says it is delivered to the correct address shouldn’t eBay resolve this in your favour anyways?
