Stamp box with missing stamp sheets

Hi guys,
I noticed lately that most of the listings on ebay for the japanese stamp box are missing the stamp sheets.
Some says thats ebay policy…
Is this anyhow true?
My first thought was, its all stamp collectors that just selling all the stuff that they are not collecting.

From what I have read, you can’t legally resell Japanese stamps

I have heard this a lot as well but this does seem strange since there are plenty of stamp sellers on all Japanese reselling sites (I am assuming they are doing this legally). Perhaps there is a period of time after issuance that stamps are able to be resold once again.

In many situations stamps are considered the same as currency so this may be the issue.

I’d be interested in actually reading official documentation with these laws but I have not found any yet.

This.

They are reselling them there for additional profit since most collectors only want the cards anyway.

I won’t argue the legality of it. With the way things are going, im not surprised at all.

(See attached convo between me and my supplier).

A box set without the stamps is an incomplete box set. The stamps are going to end up being more valuable than the cards.

People gonna be selling Pokemon stamps like drugs in the back alleys around Roppongi at this rate.

It’s just a list of items that have been determined as kinken, items that you can exchange for goods and services, that presumably you need have a license for in order to resell. Stamps come under this category.
