I got 6 burning shadows boxes that I picked up at a bulk sale. Opened 2 and the pull rate is terrible. Hope it helps push the value of the box in the future :sweat_smile:

Only reason I buy modern is to rip open some packs for fun. If it’s a rainbow rare Zard I’ll keep. The rest I’ll probably sell

I’m thinking it will. People love gambling and the excitement associated with pulling a hard to pull card. This is one of the reasons why I am so bullish on hidden fates overall. That shiny zard will do wonders for future price appreciation. The wildcard on it though is how much pokemon company is going to print and how much people are going to stockpile. You can’t stockpile a lot of HF because of how everything is in some sort of promo card box but my guess is long-term packs in a sealed box will sell for a premium over loose packs. The most efficient is the ETB but good luck finding that. Who knows if pokemon company will even print that again.

Even though evolutions is not worth anything now I do feel like it will be worth something 10-15 years from now.

I think it will have a similar impact like the legendary collection set did

It’s a reboot type of reprint of the original base set

  3. Evolutions ( love it or hate it its stupidly popular and someone always wants it)
  4. shining legends ( Shining pokemon need i say more)
  5. Ancient origins ( i personally just love this set and i just wanted to share it…)

Since the recent price boom in vintage i’ve decided to have a little dabble in the world of modern speculation and it’s actually quite fun. Worst case scenario i open them and make a binder like the good old days!

Yes. I’ve seen it. Hidden fates collection boxes. Make sure you inspect them very carefully before buying because HF is high risk of reseal. I wish they would just make it online shipping only.
