So... What if you HAD to collect only cards of ONE Pokemon?

I’m loving everyone’s responses, and I’m surprised and delighted by some of the choices of Pokemon.

Back before I started only collecting Gyarados Cards, I aimed at collecting Mewtwo cards as he’s my favorite second Pokemon.

To this day I still have quite a lot of Mewtwo cards. I have a completed collection of Volcarona cards, as well as many Scyther, Scizor, Alakazam, Golduck, and Dragonair cards.

I need to post that side collection at some point. XD

Actually, if you collect Kadabra cards, that might be the best shot at nearing completion. Who knows if it’ll ever be printed again.

I collect mainly Charizards but this upcoming set makes me want to collect Sharpedos… always liked using it in the games lol. If not, maybe Scyther, he’s pretty cool

I just got back a PSA 10 Reverse Holo Expedition Kadabra. It’s one of my favorite artworks of him. I’d say Alakazam is a close choice to Jolteon/Gyarados. Kadabra ties into that evolution.

Speaking of Alakazam, the Lv. X artwork is pretty sweet.

I’m collecting Raichu, Psyduck, Golduck, Farfetch’d, Ducklett, Pancham and Pangoro. If I had to choose only one, I’d stick with Raichu.

Scyther is a beast! Dragonair also has some great artwork.

Really hard for me to decide between Blastoise, Gyarados and Mewtwo.

For now Gyarados might be slight favourite, just because the cards featured in gym series.

Currently collecting eeveelutions, but if I had to choose one, I’d definitely go with Umbreon. The artwork on many of the cards is stunning!

I’ve been doing this for a while with Umbreon cards. Not my favourite pokemon, but it always seems to get fantastic art on whatever card it gets. Also have a lackluster Milotic collection coming along. If I had to choose another, I’d probably go for Kyogre. First pokemon I ever got to lv 100 in the games!

Umbreon and Ninetales seem to have probably the most impressive and consistently well-featured artwork in some of the cards I’ve seen.

I’ve considered collecting Ninetales alone because of some of the art. I mean, just look at this:
