my prediction, as they don’t allow you to markdown purchases.

…Not that a great patriot such as myself would ever do such things

But they are correcting the trade imbalance apparently !

Expect most countries to retaliate in the near future with tariffs on US goods.

US just raised tarriffs on Chinese goods to 54%

So basically, anything you buy on Amazon just got 54% more expensive.

Interesting article if anyone is interested in the ins and outs.

Very pokemanz related

There are vaults where international folks can store their cards until trade deals are put in place. I don’t see this changing much if at all for places like Z&G

If tariffs are long term, you have more problems than trying to import your Pokeman cards.

On the bright side, the value of all of our Japanese collections just went up 24%. That’s how tariffs work, right?

Time to do a flat 24% price increase on all items in the eBay store!

You jest, but I wouldn’t be surprised if JP card prices rise for this exact reason

Is there any word that the de minimus exemption is ending for shipments from Japan? I’m seeing that it’s ending for shipments from China, but if it remains in place for Japan we should still be able to bring in shipments worth less than $800 tariff free.

Just sent a new psa sub out today from the UK, hopefully it can clear customs there before this all starts on Saturday

I think it also depends on the shipper. I’ve never been charged when it comes EMS, but lately UPS international has been doing me dirty charging $30-40 extra on every package even before tariffs were a thing and they aren’t custom or “tax” fees either. They label it as some border broker charge. From buyee, my preferred delivery method to the US is actually DHL.

So Trumps Tariffs, should i start buying Japanese/Korean booster boxes and see it go up?

Always use EMS for Buyee if you live in the U.S.
