Hello all! Anyone knows someone who makes customs with decent quality, cos I would love to print my winning entry as a real card and display it with the rest. Tried to contact @pokemondecals with no luck, he made some Snap customs before and they were amazing, but it seems he is not taking commissions anymore. Any other option? Also if someone has good skills to make the card layout it would be great, as I feel it would be kinda lame to do it myself haha, any volunteer? All help is appreciated!
Have you tried Instagram? I can’t remember any names specifically but I know I’ve seen some impressive custom card makers on there. There’s also a good amount of quality ones on Etsy (Custom pokemon card | Etsy CA). Maybe reach out and see if anyone is interested in making a custom order.
Quick High Quality mock draft I just made. What you thinking for hp, attack, description, number, etc…? I can try filling in a few parts and changing the energies/text as needed, but its a start haha. Let me know with any suggestions!
@simorno, I want to leave all those details to your imagination, that’s why I ddon’t want to design it myself And that’s a very high quality layout, I’m impressed.
After struggling a bit to find the right font that works with Japanese text, Im gonna have to give up for the moment haha. Ill be searching lol. If anyone else would like to try their hand, feel free to use my previous post’s high-res image as a template! I edited it to add a snap logo and take out some of the energies;)
@drewzcustomcards on Instagram has some pretty amazing custom cards. I’ve never purchased any so can’t tell you how much it costs, how long it takes, etc.
Not sure if he takes commissions or what he charges these days, but cardsbyalex on Instagram is an option.
I once bought these cards from him way back (the only custom cards I’ve ever bought tbh. Not sure I will again, but I loved that big-headed Blastoise cosplay, so couldn’t resist it at the time ). Since these were one of his first card he sold years ago, I’m sure his quality has improved by now.

i see im pretty late to the discussion. did you ever get your card made for you? i make customs, and been wanting to do a snap themed set. when i finally get around to making it id be happy to make this one for you too. this is mostly what i make
