Show Off Your Error Cards Megathread!

Thanks. I contacted ebay, but they said since it was past an hour all I could do is ask the seller to cancel the order. I messaged them, but I am not sure if they will cancel it or not. If they don’t ebay said once I get the item I can file for a return, but with no way to prove if they are legit or not and the seller saying they don’t accept returns I am not sure if I will get my money back or not. A lesson learned I guess lol.

Would this be considered off cut or just severely off centered?

I know there’s no shortage of off center GX from SM, but this one is WAY off.
The Yungoos reverse was in the same pack, made me giggle.

@maverick75 I’d consider that off-center. Sadly so many of the GX cards I have come across are like that. I usually consider OC cards to be less desirable than properly centered cards.

It’s a Gumshoos so nobody wants it anyways lol

Does this count as off centered?

From my understanding:
MC will either have a piece of the next card, the colortest printing border, and/or the alignment dot.

OC is (almost) everything else.

Would this get the stain qualifier from psa? Was searching my old bulk and found this.

The seller also has a sun and moon one www.ebay.com/itm/Pokemon-BLANK-HOLO-FOIL-CARD-SUN-AND-MOON-PATTERN-/252926851207?hash=item3ae39d7887:g:GLcAAOSwpkFY4qEp

It’s not anything new, People have been doing it for years:

Him labeling it as a error is super fraud.

Not sure, looks like someone spilt their milk over it LOL

I’d probably classify that one as a miscut. Some of the card art (the border) is cut off (plus an alignment dot is visible). It’s minor, but MC in my book.

Yea the seller was female and I don’t think she knows anything about cards. She issued a refund and had no clue about the acetone thing.

I don’t know what the seller being female has to do with anything >___>

honestly, they still have it listed as an error card

they definitely know what they are doing and are intentionally misleading.

Unfortunately they are not mine (they were included in a bunch of interesting cards but I had other items to buy at the same time, I regret a little…):

I think that the 2 “error” cards are test cards.

Are the errors the two outer cards?

She’s BS’ing you, obviously knows about cards if she knows how to list the description.
Someone who knows nothing about cards will not use the terms TCG players/Collectors use.

Alright, ive been looking back at a A LOT of my old cards, and noticed a significant amount more than i thought would had full holo bleed errors. Now, i noticed that the DP era holos and promos were pretty consistent with the holo bleeds, but i havent seen too many ebay listings or posts about the m at all.

I got them all from an old card shop in florida, so was it just a coincidence or were they all from the same box? Im not sure. But what struck me from left field the most was my Fossil Zapdos actually had the full holo bleed everywhere; prominent enough bleed to the point of me almost mistaking it for an Evolutions card. Its odd since i dont ever really see English WOTC era cards with this error. Ive only provided pictures of the Zapdos as that was the most surprising and worthwhile one. Obviously, its hard to illustrate with my terrible phone camera quality, but i tried my best.

I cant be the only one with all these similar errors. Can everyone, when they get the chance, take a look back at some of the older cards, especially DP promos and holos, and post any errors they find? Id love to see others finding cool stuff after a bit of rummaging haha

Yes.
The first cards seems to be non holo, and the last card has a different holo pattern.
