That square cut shining Gyarados is absolutely insane… whats the story behind it?
There used to be a member who collected miscuts and misprints almost exclusively. Story goes, he had contacted someone who lived near by one of the card factories who had found a bunch of miscuts and errors in one of the dumpsters. Of them there were two square cuts of these babies and he bought them both.
When I first became a member and mentioned I only collect Gyarados cards, he showed me the two Square Cut Shining Gyarados. He made me an offer on one and I took it.

No texture Lillie full art. I can’t even believe this one. Does anyone else have a Sun and Moon era no-texture error?
Edit: Here’s another picture now that I have some natural sunlight! I am in love with this card haha. Lillie’s one of my favorite characters. I’d absolutely love to see an error version of the Ultra Prism variant as well or perhaps Acerola!

In the $3-$5 range sounds about right. Miscuts like these, while very cool, are not rare. A normal, mint version of this card sells for $1-$2.

Is this a common error or is this a one time error kind of card?

Neither I guess. 
It’s not a one-time occurrence, but I’ve only seen the Blue misprint five times thus far, and the Maroon misprint twice. So they are pretty rare and hard to find.

Can someone explain how a miscut like this occurs? Front is fine but it’s a party in the back.

I’d assume the back is misaligned when they are gluing them together
