Located in the US. I have sold tons of cards in the US but never have shipped internationally. Got a deal lined up for a sale in the UK but I was wondering what the best (cheapest/safe) ways to ship it. I plan on shipping the cards in a bubble mailer, wouldn’t weight more than 8oz. I was looking at shipping it with paypal, but it asked for customs forms. This would lead to my next question, and if the cards are valued at around $100, does this need a shipping form?
Might just have to visit the post office ![]()
Not sure on the best/cheapest ways to ship, but a FYI shipping to EU/UK, the buyer will have to pay customs fees if you put anything over $20 on a customs form as a declared value - so talk to your buyer about declaration and customs. It might save you some drama from a salty buyer who didn’t realise they were gonna have to pay +20% on the purchase price.
use to be easy to fill customs form since it was just 3 or 4 things (sender, receiver, value).
Now the form changed with more extra info you have to fill out.
Thank you very much! I did not know that!
@alakazamthat, Where do I find that form, is it file-able through paypal?
I never did it on paypal since I don’t know the weight.
I just went over post office to fill the form.
Someone here probably know better than me
