I personally rather have the 1st edition over unlimited even though the shining Zard is a great card. Blaine’s Charizard is a classic artwork and one of my favorite Charizards of all time. I really do believe it has been and still is severely undervalued considering when it was released and the artwork.

Both are great cards. I think you should eventually have both. However, if I had to choose, I’d go with the shining. It’s extremely popular and I don’t see that changing.
