Dang never seen those before, the holo makes all the difference in the world.
that and the silver bordering, the yellow and the E-reader Ex sandstorm template makes it ugly Imo.

I think its one of those forgotten sets. I never think of those sets ever when Im talking cards. I don’t know why but I really do think its a forgotten set or a set people don’t think about. Its a shame really, cus now that Ive gone back and looked at the cards, its like oh, this was a nice set.
I’ve been wanting that Arcanine and Espeon Japanese exclusive holo for a while now. They look amazing. And yeah I agree with train of thought, that silver border is much more pleasing to the eye.
I think this set is interesting and quite unique, but real ugly, and the reverses are even worse.
I like these ones okay. The rest are close to being great, but there’s just something off for me.
A bit of a necro by me, but im a big fan of the set. It was the last set i opened as a kid and the art is super nostalgic to me even though the old CGI is a bit goofy. My favourites are the Absol and Houndoom holo’s.

Nice swirl on the Houndoom. This was one of the last sets I opened as a kid too, so I get the appreciation for it, even with the cgi.
