Some of my favorite cards from this set, but I could really just about pick any card from this set.
I really like this card because of the pikachu in the background.

skyridge and aquapolis feel like theyre straight out of the game! much more themed than any other set!
Love love love this set and personally when you look at the pack prices then I think the cards are actually undervalued especially when you take into account how amazing the artwork is
I would love to see a return to the artwork style in Skyridge and Aquapolis. The holos were especially nice, I think they’re hands down better than anything else. The umbreon and gyarados are obvious fan favourites but the houndoom, arcanine, and raikou are also phenomenal.
I’d also love if they created sets with more coherence to them, Skyridge and Aquapolis all had a theme and the artwork followed it. A modern set that I thought did a good job of this was Furious Fists, would love to see more of it in the future.

I love how expedition through skyridge have such great simplistic, hand-drawn pokemon card art.

Amazing amazing amazing set - even the pack and booster box artwork are incredible. To have one of these sealed now 
I was out of Pokemon when this set came out but it is one of my favorites by far. Someday i’ll own some of the heavy hitters.
Favorite cards in the set: The sandshrew and magneton (electric) is peak surrealism in the TCG for me, very Salvador Dalí esque works of art, absolutely beautiful
Worst cards in the set: As much as I like it, the articuno is a confusing mess to look at, also Raikou.
How you feel about this set in general: solid 9/10, has most of my favorite work in the series despite a few odd balls.
Never managed to buy a pack, nor had any in my collection - but since returning to the TCG, there’s something about the artwork and style/layout of the cards that make this one of my favourites.
I was quite happy to buy a raw copy of this one for 10$, poor seller 
Love a lot of the skyridge artworks, fav is probably gyarados?
