Sending straight to PSA

Hi all, I’m from the U.K. and thinking about sending 10 cards to PSA direct.
Has anyone here done the same and not used a middle man service?
Any advice or guidance?
Thinking about sending them early next year possibly through Royal Mail.

It’s pretty simple, what are you stuck on?

@pokemonguy27, The best advice I’ll give you if you’ve not sent to PSA before is just use either Ludkins or GradedGem, it will make your life much easier, especially since it’s only 10 cards.

I suppose I was wondering if sending to PSA direct do they require cards to be in semi rigids or toploaders? Would anyone recommend a courier service? What are the pros/ cons of sending direct?
I have looked on Graded gems website and seen how busy they are at the moment and didn’t really want to waste their time with my little order of 10 cards :joy: not really interested in pre grades either!

Are you already signed up with PSA? If not you’ll have to pay a substantial fee for 10 cards,

I can’t say I am, how does that work then?

Check out your options here:

Either of the grading services mentioned above will likely be your best bet. Both offer phenomenal pricing for the services they offer, and will be less than if you sent on your own, especially when you factor in all the other fees/steps that need to be followed. I believe they’re both also certified PSA dealers, and the years of experience/relationship they have with PSA is invaluable.

The only con is that they are swamped at the moment (as is PSA), so communication will be slower than usual. I know there are individuals from the UK who have PSA memberships/send very frequently, but I don’t know at what point that becomes worthwhile.

Okay thank you for that, I’m guessing my best bet is to use one of these services and just wait it out, I’m in no rush anyway as I won’t be selling them once graded.
Many thanks

Use Ludkins.
