Verifying what I have listed for Japanese and English and then moving on to a list of other language sets. Also totally open to changing the way it is formatted. I’ll message you a link?
Clean, same quality and size photos are an absolute must.
Would be great to have an all white/same color backround for all photos as well. For sealed cards it would be extra awesome if they get scanned in the package. Also, how would you go about the illustration contest cards (Poliwrath, Snorlax & Mr.Mime) And cards such as vending series 1 that also come as cd promos? Aren’t some cards exactly the same but known to be part of different sets?
There will be no background, the cards should be cropped in post-processing
And as churlocker said, making order in the database is a whole different topic then scaning the cards, as I said, we should have a forum subsections dedicated to this matter, so we can split into discussions about the different aspects.
I would make public any one language you have done, as there will surely be a lot of obscure cards not on the list. Just make a general list with all the known usual cards and the hardcore collectors here will soon correct your info on the rarer cards.
Important notice: Do not scan any big amount of cards yet, I am in the process of making a guideline on how to scan and which scans will be accepted with churlocker (Did you get my message?). What would be appreciated is trying out methods how to scan cased PSA card, or various type of foils. Try rotating foils on the scanner and post the various configurations here, we will try to pick the standard on how much should the foil be visible.
