I am new here, so I hope this is the right way of doing things.
Does anyone here happen to have or know anywhere or anyone with information on how I could obtain The Spaceman Pikachu Art Academy promo card by the winner Mame Akimaru please?
Been searching a long time to no availâŠgood luck! If you happen to find someone that has more than one pleeeeeease send them my way I will do the same of course!
Sheâs only willing to trade her cards. Those that have them bought additional copies from other winners and exchanged them with her to get personal copies for their collection. At this time, she is not accepting trades due to personal circumstances. Your best bet, honestly, is to wait it out long haul. There are a ton of different reasons they might surface: seller changes mind, local negotiates deal, person who currently has them runs into financial despair, so on and so forth.
Just buckle up and wait. In twenty years, it wonât matter if you got it five years prior or fifteen years prior. Just make sure youâve got the finances when the opportunity rolls around. It always does.
I have my thoughts and feelings about it all but I keep them to myself because theyâre cynical and unproductive. But all is well! Hahaha. Ask me about my opinion on how to interact with someone whose cards you wish you had some time.
It is interesting in collecting how much tension exists between our desires to complete and the necessity of patience. Itâs as though we are always reigning in covetousness and riding out desire. Itâs incredibly human.
Apart from the Pikachu Emotions, this one is probably my favorite of the twelve Art Academy Pikachus. I hope to have all 12 one day. Currently I have my third one incoming.
A big thank you to everyone who replied!
I know itâs hard to obtain but never imagined it this hard!!
Anyone know a rough price guide, would it be in the thousands??
The very first one that surfaced was being sold for around 200-300 by noodles here on E4, and from there most prices went up. Average prices became 300-400, and now some are being sold graded for a little more than that. Ultimately one side will cave if more sales are to happen, and which side does first will determine the next price point. Iâve passed up buying one of the Pikachuâs, because the seller was asking approximately $600 USD shipped for a non-graded copy. A bit more than I was willing to pay at the moment.
Iâve watched MTG from afar for a long time so I do admit I donât know too much about it, but I havenât seen that many high end cards aside from the Beta white border set and some of the trophies. I guess I just havenât seen as much on the high end side XD;
