SEALED Shadowless "no damage" Ninetales

So here is the physical proof that the shadowless “no damage” ninetales came in the theme deck box. I recall either @thecharizardauthorty or @smpratte once requesting in a video that they wanted to see someone open one up on video (Not sure which, but I could be wrong). I’m not sure where this ranks or if there ever was solid confirmation it came in the theme decks. I just found this in sold listings and thought it was super interesting and wanted to share. I have never seen it before and I would have bought it in a second for the $450 it sold for…

Interestingly, same guy is selling another shadowless brushfire deck with normal shadowless ninetales, so assuming they were in the same case, he did not get two.

What’s your take on it Rusty? Ever see this before? Has it ever been documented as coming from the theme deck? I always thought it was theorized.

Theorized only. The thought process was that if it was from boosters it would have happened to the 1st ed ones too. Since it wasn’t there it was obvious to people who know the printing process it came from theme decks. Having the proof is nice.

Looks good to me. I don’t have much on the Ninetales. I asked once and got a number of 55, but that just seemed to low to me. I can’t say that I have ever seen 56 in one spot, but with all that have circulated I would think there are more than 55.

Now to get on the hunt for a Shadowless PCD Sheet

thats ridiculously low if true. Is this info from the production manager?

55 what? Not cards, that seems impossibly low. I think Ive seen more than that on ebay in my time.

I agree. I have had many and one of our members here has a dozen or two.

This is ground breaking, but were these decks gold strip or regular?

edit: regardless that probably means no more mint copies are waiting to be opened considering the residue that will be on any newly opened cards

The timing… haha
Just requested some info on the board as well (about my mint Ninetales) and didn’t see this threat.

Great information, really helpful!

Awesome find! I wish the buyer would have posted more pictures of the box itself so we could narrow it down some more. I’ve seen many variations of the box and it would be nice to figure out which variation it came from. Maybe we can find the buyer and they can upload some pics for us?

Speaking of shadowless theme decks this post got me researching. I believe I’ve found the differences between the shadowless and unlimited base decks and so far my theory has been 100% accurate with over 20 different videos and listings confirming it. I’ll post my findings and evidence in another thread this evening!

Just click on the provided link and see their other listings. They are selling other shadowless decks too, but I think they are pretty over priced. He even has another shadowless ninetales deck, so message him if you like. I might do it later.

I was thinking to myself about a week ago about whether we would ever see 100% conformation of the no damage error coming in theme decks and concluded it was a no so to see this so soon after is kinda spooky but amazing at the same time!

I checked all of his other shadowless decks and he doesn’t have pictures of the back of the boxes on any of them unfortunately. I don’t really want to bother him with asking to upload one on each listing either.

I had to try…

I bought that deck in a clicking frenzy as soon as I read this thread.
