the topps chrome sets are particularly hard to complete because there is only 3 sparkles and 2 teknos per box and there just was not very many produced because it was near the end of the topps run. The series 2 are even harder to find.

Charizard Gains

I never thought I would get as close to completing this set and I am not sure I am ready to add up how much I have dumped into it yet… but this is a big speed bump that I pretty much flew over. I found both the sparkle and tekno in the same week. Tekno is from a lucky lucky member on this forum that actually pulled one from the pack! I am not sure how many tekno charizards are out there but I finally got one!

Send me your chromes!! Series 1 and Series 2 sparkle and tekno. I will give you a good price on them as it’s the only way to rationalize my current expenditures.

How can you tell the difference between Series 1 and Series 2? Is it just significantly lighter in color?
