Just a simple question, what is the idea behind the sampling packs? I really do not understand why release a 3 card pack while you can have like a prerelease version for example?
Do the sampling packs have exclusive cards for example?

Their use is for giving away. Either as an extra with some magazine or just a handout in a toy store.
Give a bit of free shitty drugs to the kids so they get hooked and ask for the good stuff
They are literally samples of the product. It is about showing you what a Pokemon card is. It has no further purpose. They use them when the cost needs to be as low as possible while still demonstrating what the core product/experience they’re selling is.
