Sales Data for Raw Cards/Sets

Hello All!

Does anyone know of a way to look back at sales data on ebay for raw cards/sets over an extended period of time? Most of the sites that pull data only go back a month or two. I know the Pokemon Price feature on the website is only for graded cards. I would love to look at data for the last 2-3 years. I have prices in my head but it would be great to have it in a spreadsheet with fancy bar graphs and such.

I’m pretty sure I know the answer…

But I thought I would ask anyways!

Thank you all for any insight or input!

Jimmy

I think that would be tough since sellers on eBay are infamous for claiming/titling their items as near mint when they have actually been run through a washing machine

Looks like by the lack of response there is not any easy way to find data. Looks like I will have to create my own spreadsheet.

I find the market really interesting to follow and how it will continue to grow. Just when I think prices are at record highs, they continue to climb. It would be interesting to see if a market crash will happen, however since it happens with all hobby’s, I assume it will happen at one point with Pokemon. I highly doubt high end items like 1st edition base set Charizard falling in price, Gold Stars, Shinning etc.

It would be interesting to see a record tracked over time to see growth.

eBay completed listings is the only real option. Tracking ungraded cards will never be concise. Seller condition terms are arbitrary. Even those who accurately described a card are mixed in with incorrect listings. Therefore it’s impossible to accurately scrape data.

That is what I figured. I’m basically looking to create my own spreadsheet, however I know it’s hard to be entirely accurate because you don’t know what a best offer sold for. The PWCC is great because I can go back in time and collect some data that way. From being in the market myself, primarily buying for a while I think I have a good handle on price growth for WOTC product.

This is an amazing tool, thank you for so much for this link!

so true. I only trust buying graded through EBAY!
