I just realised my english unlimited Sabrina’s gengar has a cross in the art, i thought this was exclusive to the japanese print & banned in the english??

The Japanese one has grave stones, so the English must have crosses instead
Ignore that haha Japanese has crosses (grave stones) to. That’s interesting that it has a cross wonder if others have it
You can tell the gravestones have been erased, leaving an incomplete horizon line. But it looks like it didn’t… cross the editors mind to erase them all.
That is every English copy. You can vaguely make out the crosses but it’s obviously suppressed. The Japanese and English are a night and day difference.

Reviving the topic as I wanted to make a similar one (nice feature).
But I also think the difference between English and Japanese is not that big.
Yes, the holo seems to hide the crosses more, but calling it banned artwork doesn’t make sense if the crosses are still visibile…
Its called banned because it was clearly suppressed, irrespective of how effective the alterations were. The context of the art change solidifies the term “banned”

“Censored” is a more accurate word but “banned” is the nomenclature we ended up with. It’s also a spicier word
