S&M Team Rocket Revival?

I’ve been watching the S&M anime from the first episode recently and Team Rocket has a very prominent role in it. More so than Team Plasma, Aqua and all the other teams. So I wondered…

Will we see a revival of a Team Rocket set within S&M (anytime soon)? Or will they just pump out sets that got little to none to do with the anime but focus more on the content of the video games (seeing that Crimson Invasion is all about Uber Beasts)?

I would love to see a Jessie and James supporter card and another bunch of Dark Pokémon. Maybe even a return to Light vs Dark Pokemon?

Team Rocket in the TCG would be sweet but I can’t stand them in the anime. They make it hard to watch for me, among other things…

But I doubt we’ll see them show up in an actual TCG set. They got to be featured in the Ash vs. Team Rocket Japanese decks earlier in the year though.

I feel you man, I tried rewatching the entire animé, but the amount of filler and the amount of episodes that seemingly have their flow completely ruined by a Rocket interruption completely puts me off.
In the games universe i love them… Alot of stuff TCG wise i’ve collected has Rocket on them haha.

Who knows maybe in Ultra Sun and Moon they make a brief appearance in the post game.
But i doubt it… i’d say there’s a higher probability for a Team Skull related set.

Yeah… Exactly, the set after Crimson Invasion is already labelled to be Ultra Sun/Moon. So if they take a side-step from the video game influence on the TCG it won’t be until after the 4th set of USUM.

The only actually good season of the Anime is imo XY/XY&Z. Animation is really good, music is pretty hype and the fight choreography is solid. Obviously don’t expect any too dark storylines, it’s still Pokémon, but it’s a fun watch.

maybe someday i’ll give it a go… i liked the first few, Orange islands and the Johto episodes.

to be honest, it might not even be that bad of an idea in this day and age seeing as alot of the fan base also consists of older people now.
EVERYONE WILL BE BANISHED TO THE SHADOW REALM.
