Real or Fake?

Has anyone ever found that crazy finds like these are real and not fake? I assume 99% of the time they are fake, but I have heard of the few times that discounted sealed product like this are sold cheap because the seller is unaware. Now there was only one picture so I am assuming the seller took someone else picture and posted it on his ebay listing. I requested pictures of the box and of all the corners, but within 5 minutes of the listing it was already sold. My main question is does the box itself look legit? I normally take the assumption that if the seal has the wizards logo on it then it’s real 100% of the time. So my logic was if this seller is able to return pictures of the box with each of the corners and maybe a specific picture that I request then it is a real box, but I was unable to retrieve these pictures so I would assume the box is fake. Do you guys agree with this logic? If not please inform me otherwise. I have not bought too much vintage sealed product so still learning!

When I clicked the link it said the listing has ended. That is suspicious for sure.

I see that the item appears in Ebay sold listings so maybe it sold really fast but I don’t think it proves anything. If someone has multiple Ebay accounts they could purchase it from themselves to increase their feedback score.

I’ve got successfully burned 3/3 times with listings like this lmao. 99% always scams. Always sucks for how long it takes to get your money back

Yeah anything listed at this much of a discount and with one picture I assume is always a scam. Just curious if you received pictures back with wizards seal would most people call that a legitimate box to purchase?

Ya, I do not think someone who purchased that custom case (I believe they are around 70$) is not knowledgeable in the price of these booster boxes. I am guessing the seller stole the picture and it was a scam for sure.

If a seller has a low amount of positive feedback, especially if none of it is seller feedback(like this seller), just ignore any listings of theirs that are hundreds of dollars lol

This. Also that sellers account hasn’t been active for at least 6+ months, could be signs of a hacked account.

If someone can type in and knows what the actual product should be titled as, I feel like generally they’ll be able to look up how much their item should sell for.

Definitely would advise to stay from obvious scams, they just turn into interest free loans for people.

Few pictures (1-2)= scam
Multiple backgrounds in a listing = scam
Fuzzy / Blurry images = scam

Yup definitely fits the criteria for the standard scam as I suspected! Just surprised that people so often buy these as soon as they are listed.

Whenever I see “100 percent authentic” in the title… I have a pretty good idea that it’s fake lol. #charizardballer69
