Ran into a Scammer today on Reddit... at least he tried

I asked for a timestamp on his card. Gotta work on those Photoshop skills

Maybe I’m missing it because I’m on mobile, but what part of this is photoshopped?

I would have been scammed lol

The post-it is. It’s not the worst job ever but the blurring on the bottom left is pretty bad

Anyone actually buy off reddit before? I follow the page, but am always way to scared of being scammed

Bought and sold tons of times. Use PayPal g&s and check feedback same as you would at any time.

I do, just another place to get more cards from different people

Looks fine on mobile tbh

Always send payment via Paypal Goods and Services. Paypal will 100% cover you if they don’t send or try to scam you. If the seller isn’t willing to do it through G&S walk away. I’ve done about 10 reddit transactions and they all went smoothly.

i buy and sell off reddit. The bots track successful sales so I don’t fuck with people until they have at least 30 feedback.

I buy from people all the time that don’t have sales history. I wasn’t even aware reddit had a function like this? Is it subreddit based?

I’d be scammed. It looks legit to me…

I would’ve been scammed even though I don’t buy off of reddit.

Subreddit based yes but most are the same. After successful purchase/sale/trade you post and tag the bot. If other party replies and confirms it’s added to your flair

I definitely wouldn’t have noticed this … kinda scary

It took me a little bit to notice, but if I hadn’t i would’ve been completely red flagged by him only wanting to use F&F. He also had a whole fake rep account through heatware that he used to try to seem legit but none of his reps were since 2011 so it was obvious it was a purchased account. Just little things you gotta look out for with scammers, I always ask a lot of questions when dealing with people I don’t know.
