Any idea where I could buy it? Searched a bit on eBay and local websites, but I either get UV protected card sheets or sunglasses as search results…

I think you gotta Google a bit, or find a local photographer/photo studio. But I think it can be costly, although that thought is purely based on watching Pawn Stars and those guys always saying it costs 250-300 to get something framed ![]()
My first BGS submission came back a few days back. Since it is way too dark in the evening when I come back from work I waited until the weekend to take pictures.
First of all we have a BGS-10 (subgrades 10/10/9.5/10
) error illustrator Moltres as well as a BGS-9.5 (subgrades 9.5/10/10/9) corrected illustrator Moltres. Unfortunately the 10 isn’t 0.5 higher on edges to have that illusive Black Label 10, but I’m still very happy with these results!

Next we have my own pulled Chinese Registeel Gold Star and Flygon EX, which I was lucky enough to pull from my only Chinese EX Legend Maker booster box opening thus far a few months back. The grades are BGS-9.5 (subgrades 9.5/9/9.5/10) for Registeel and BGS-9.5 (9.5/9/9.5/9.5) for Flygon:

And the last two are two more error illustrator Moltres, since I’ve send in three for a higher chance of a 10.
These two will be for sale/trade probably.

All and all I’m very happy with the results of my first BGS submission. I’ve used @pokemonoscar’s Swedish middleman service for collectors within Europe, and I can certainly recommend him for anyone else looking to grade cards with BGS. If I ever want any other cards graded, I know who to go to. ![]()

I’m itching to get a Beckett card graded! If I ever get the fan club catd, I’ll do Becket ONLY because I’m a numbers person & like to see how it’s grade.
I’m not a sealed pack collector at all (and also won’t become one now). But there was one pack I always wanted ever since I first saw it:

I don’t know why, but there is just something about the Red Logo of the Australian pack on the brown of the Fossil pack in combination with the awesome Aerodactyl, which makes this pack one of my absolute favorites. Thanks again @acebren!

Back to the extended Base set Pikachus again.
I have a few more incoming. This one is made by livpokmn from Instagram.

I already had another Pikachu (#27 WotC Promo) autographed by Veronica Taylor, the English voice actress of Ash. But when I saw this Jumbo Base Set Pikachu along with the following certificate, I couldn’t let it pass:

If only I knew who Nicola Banucci is who signed it. Probably a regular employee of Dynamic Forces Inc. at the time of authenticating. Hmm, I might just send them an email asking through their website actually. ![]()

Another beautiful extended artwork. This time from pokemoncardalters from Instagram. She did a pretty good job matching the yellow of Pikachu, since a lot of the other artists have trouble with that. I also like the reflection in the water. ![]()

Love this
Two Pikachus signed by their illustrator Mirodi Harada have arrived from my online friend and fellow Pikachu collector Tom. She was unannounced at an event in Belgium last Sunday, after she visited Rome Italy last week. Tom heard this from someone from Italy, so he took this opportunity to get these two Pikachus for me, as well as some others for himself.

Thanks again Eric (@tonysandlin )! Although the Korean webshop you linked didn’t had all cards in stock from my wanted list, they still had quite a few, and the middleman service you linked worked great! Now I just have to find some other Korean webshops for the cards I’m still missing, and use their amazing service again. ![]()

Cant zoom on the photo, what card is the one left of pikachu/zekrom?

I’ve replaced the picture, so now you should be able to zoom in. But it’s the 136/SM-P Korean Lottery League promo Pikachu (which is the 249/SM-P Pikachu in Japanese).

You can’t say that and not link to it yourself. ![]()
How do you manage to keep on top of which cards exist outside of English and Japanese?
How do you manage to keep on top of which cards exist outside of English and Japanese?
Well, for German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese it’s relatively easy since Sun & Moon. All cards released in English are also being released in these languages (except for Jumbos and McDonald’s cards in Portuguese).
Russian, Polish, Dutch, and Chinese have all four stopped printing.
Thai only has the First Impact and GX Starter Deck thus far, although I’ve heard more sets will be releasing soon.
So mainly Japanese and Korean is sometimes hard to keep track of. Japanese cards pop up on eBay and news websites pretty often, though.
As for Korean, close to all Japanese sets have also been released in Korean lately, and most non Full Art promos have also been released in Korean. I do hear the news of most of the Korean releases from fellow Pikachu collector Tom however. He has two Korean contacts, so I assume he gets the information from them.

I’ve never seen that second Pikachu before, is it already released in any other languages?
Cool cards as always!

Yeah, it’s the Pikachu from the Night Unison Japanese set (and this Pikachu will also be in the English Unbroken Bounds set at the start of next month).

Another extended Base Pikachu. This time from Silvermoon0616 of Instagram.

I also received a bunch more Pikachu & Zekrom cards. If I have all of them I’ll post a single picture.
Although the Portuguese ones might take a while, and I also still have to locate the two Korean Jumbos…
As for my National Index collection; the Vaporeon Gold Star that was supposed to go from Italy to The Netherlands (but took a detour through India and Spain before arriving back at the seller so (s)he could reship it to me) arrived last week. I’ve also started putting my National Index collection in a separated binder. By doing so I saw I bought one card incorrectly (bought a regular Milotic instead of a Shiny variant), so I’ve (again) got one last card incoming. But since it’s coming from France I expect it not too long from now. In the mean time I still have to put this collection in binders, create scans, and write the article I plan to post, so it might still take a few weeks before it is online. ![]()
Oh, and the German Next Destinies RH Pikachu arrived today as well which my online friend and fellow Pikachu collector Tom found for me (he also recently started his Instagram). Nice to see some of these foreign RHs are added to my collection every once in a while. Two months ago it was the Spanish HeartGold & SoulSilver RH Pikachu, and now this one. Here’s to hope I add the last few (Italian Mysterious Treasures RH; Italian Stormfront RH; Spanish Majestic Dawn RH with PLATINUM stamp) soon as well. ![]()

Usually Tuesday is my mail day, but today was definitely it instead!
Two Korean Detective Pikachu boxes; the English Let’s Play Pikachu Deck box; the set of Full Art Supporters from the latest set; the Portuguese Base Set Wartortle evolution box error; French Jungle 1st ed. Eevee error; and a very unique French error; as well as two amazing twisty puzzles.
Here a picture of the Full Art Supporters:

And here of the unique French error, as a start of my non-English error/misprint side collection. My French isn’t too good, but I’m pretty sure even French people couldn’t read this card.
(If anyone knows any other non-foreign errors besides these, let me know.)
