As someone living in Australia, I’m not entirely certain where sanctioned events for Pokemon and tournaments of the like are held. I know in America there are various open tournaments, although I’m sketchy on the details of them, but would be interested in how you gain points to attend worlds in Australia.

I believe you have to obtain X points before you can participate in city and regional tournaments. Points gained from local leagues etc. But you’re right, leagues are spread very thin outside the US.
