Today’s Question: QotD: Would you like to see new regional versions of Pokémon, what kind of region should it be and which Pokémon should get new versions?

Alternate Future Hoenn: Oops! All Water. kyogre and team aqua win, hoenn is completely inundated, every single pokemon must adapt to live over or in a primordial sea. i’m imagining castform with water wings
More Meowths! Big fluffy white one, tortoise shell, black with socks, orange, hairless (!!!) And I don’t even care if any evolve. Just more fun silly cats
Cubones that wear different skulls that aren’t its mother. They hunt and claim skulls as trophies. They wear them as a display of strength and intimidation. Imagine coastal region Cubones that hunt Kinglers as a rite of passage to evolve. You’d get a Marowak wearing a Kingler skull and wielding a pincer staff instead of a bone.
A regional Electivire, a regional magmortar and a regional jynx.
Electivire being a Fighting/Fire type which actually has an ability sheer force. With all punching moves in it’s arsenal it can be a hell of a fighter.
Magmortar being a Water/Dark type which have an ability of megalauncher which powers pulse moves for it same as electivire gets the push with punch moves
Regional jynx being a Ghost/Psychic type with the ability emergency exit. Yup i made it 4 times weak to dark but the ability must make it valuable.
Not 100% regional variant, but I really wish they would do more with deer themed pokemon?
So maybe regional variants of Swasbuck? Cause stantler is the dumbest thing ever. And thats all pokemon has for deer. Swasbuck and Stantler when in RL l there’s moose, Caribou, Red Deer, Fallow Deer, Whitetail, Mule, Blacktail, Roe, all the Mutjack species and some of the Asian spices im forgetting the names of.
I could see there being a deer that had a psychic theme. Maybe had dreamcatcher in the antlers. Or dark or fairy to tie into lore about deer being sprits and guardians of the wood.
Or have the moose and caribou variant with ice typing with something else.
But nope we have stantler and swasbuck. And I do like swasbuck, was one of the few pokemon I liked from the disaster that was that gen.
But in order for this variant to work we need a good deer pokemon to begin with.
tangela is so ripe for regional forms its amazing they never did anything with him its like a crime.

seaweed form-water/grass type
wispy wind form(hair looks like curly blown cloud strands)-flying type
medusa form!!!-rock type
spooky hair person typical in japanese folklore i dunno the name-ghost type
