The best luck I have had was probably when I bought a D&P Trainer kit (£35) for the Booster Pack inside (They have a small chance to contain a late-EX Series pack but usually contain DP Series)
I luckily managed to get the exact pack I was hoping for to keep in my sealed booster pack collection, EX Holon Phantoms!
