My answer is the same as one of the previous threads: Chikorita

Chikorita is one of those Pokémon that is popular thanks to the anime. However, regarding TCG it’s clearly one of the most forgotten Pokémon … The most recent Chikorita card has not even released physically …

Haunter is a super popular Pokemon, largely in part to its role in the anime and the fact that Gengar requires a trade to evolve. However, it doesn’t have much representation in the TCG and is often relegated to a common or uncommon card. :frowning: :purple_heart:

Justice for Haunter! :raised_fist:

Pichu is my first choice but also a lot of the starters not getting their share of love is odd even though they usually are the first thing and face for each game/gen reveal. And i can’t be silent about my earlier complaints either as i feel like gen 6 fossils are really liked ones but get zero card love, and i really don’t understand the lack of ultra rare love registeel and regice get while regirock has gotten a bunch of it, and they even got new family members who have gotten basically everything they can have while the original ones have been left in shadows

It’s surprising that Pidgeotto as a Gen 1 Pokémon that most people would have had on their team and that also was a member of Ash’s team in the original series only got 13 mechanically different cards. For comparison, Klink as an arguably less iconic Pokémon introduced four generations later got the same number of cards

Kyogre. Still gets cards, but we havent had a Kyogre chase card since the XY era. Amazing rare was the closest we have been. It seems the focus is on Rayquaza over the other 2. Perhaps the return of megas will generate us a Kyogre sir :folded_hands:

While I realize it’s the set mascot of one of the next two JPN sets, I’m still surprised at how relatively few chase cards Lucario receives for how popular it is.

I’m also surprised that Chandelure hasn’t been featured as a set mascot yet given that it was voted as the most popular gen 5 Mon in the 2020 official Pokémon poll.
