How no one hardly collects full sets(to expensive to rip and pull and too expensive to purchase hits individually ) Collections have to now involve a bunch of transactions between stores , collectors and graders. What happened to the good old dusty binder collections.
Also how everything’s under ex’s are basically disgarded as trash for modern. I’ve watched too many people rip packs , take the hits and then literally throw the rest in the bin. Big waste

Shiny locked Pokemon for absolutely no reason at all.
Each game brings more locks, it’s the standard now and I’m sick of it. I want to be able to shiny hunt for the Legendary Pokemon and earn them for myself. I want them to have the OT as my name, not as an event given name.
I love rarity, whether that’s in the TCG or in the video games, having something difficult to obtain like the Crystal VC Shiny Celebi was so rewarding after years hunting it. However, what’s not fun or rewarding in the slightest is logging on and obtaining a box art Legendary shiny from a wifi code or a mystery gift.
That completely kills all of the joy in that and makes them pretty worthless.

Unfortunately that currently wouldn’t mean much, they are a shadow of their former self and have been transformed into a mobile game studio. They are currently only responsible for Pokémon Café ReMix and I do think that is reflected in their number of employees and capabilities.

The one-two punch of being disappointed but not surprised at how the koraidon/Mira iron thing was handled and then subsequently being disappointed but not surprised at the lack of correction.

Agreed. This is the problem with being human. You have all these urges that are nonsensial and, to an extent, bad for you, but at the same time, losing those means you aren´t really human (or animal) anymore.

I guess it is a journey for self-mastery. I am very sure that I cannot avoid the thoughts, which like you said make me a human. However, I would ideally not want these thoughts and emotions dictate how I behave and act towards everyone. I guess this hobby has a way to push some of these insecurities and emotions to an extreme so hoping to keep getting better.

It´s the same here. Learning how to stop your brain from overflowing is essential for both behaviour towards others/the world and for better health/better choices (I think). I am not nessecarily against capitalism but I do think that the world that we live in makes this hard for many.
Modern video games missing the exploration and lengthy playability side of the Gameboy games. Will forever hope they remake SoulSilver. Same map, but in the new style
