Not rediscovering the hobby pre-2020. Hell even pre-2016. I’d love to go back to a time while people were just here because they enjoyed the cards.

The prototype scandal came to mind first, especially because Akabane was involved. As someone who always liked the uniqueness and history of Sample cards in general, the high of first seeing them revealed, compared to the low of them turning out fake, would make disappointment an understatement.
But all the amazing artworks exclusive to Pokémon Pocket is indeed more disappointing for me personally. Especially for the Pokémon that have amazing full arts in Pocket, yet not physical. Or even worse: certain Pokémon forms without even any physical TCG card at all (e.g. Mega Pinsir)..

I remember being really disappointed when I first played Pokémon Colosseum for the Gamecube. My parents gave it to me as a Christmas present and I was ecstatic because I thought it was a sequel to Pokémon Stadium 2, which I loved as a kid. I mean, “Colosseum” makes it seem like it’s a bigger stadium. Or at least it did to me when I was 10 LOL
I later begun to enjoy the game a lot though, so at least my parents didn’t waste their money.

What? They had a shiny Rayquaza raid event like a year ago or so. It was super easy, so it was practically a free shiny legendary. You can also get the Rayquaza treat from Snacksworth after doing a certain number of Blueberry quests.

I think probably the scarcity and cost of many artist card signings. While there are still opportunities out there, it seems they used to be more accessible and affordable.

The jungle Vaporeon has a proper fin tail and neck frill, but the vaporeon now has a dolphin tail. I just think the design looks better when it’s more like a fish

Took words out of my mouth man. It hurts me still also cant stand stereotypes of boxes ‘investors’ vs ‘collectors’ same thing with politics I’m over it in general. Digital games too are garbage I want to be able to sell my video game if Im bored or done with it even at 50% loss better than 0%. There’s too many things to name.

Rayzaza got v and vmax alts from evolving skies, and Groudon got the ir from paradox rift…
how cool would it have been to assemble the weather trio in their new modern artworks
