I dont think i want to meet a sentient beach ball. It would be too awkward to take on walks.
“Dont mind me, just walking my beachball. Its not safe to pet.”

Yes. In real life I’m aquatic biologist. One of my favorite group of animals are amphibians. My favorite Pokemon is Grenija not only is my height it is based off a frog!

TL;DR: Yes: :snake: → Seviper

My favorite animals has always been snakes. As a kid I was fascinated by them, and I should still have a few encyclopedia-like books about just snakes or reptiles in general.

With Pokémon, Ekans and Arbok are both great as well, but they’ve never really been close to my favorite Pokémon. I’m not even sure what my favorite Pokémon were from gen 1 as a kid, tbh. Possibly Haunter or Ditto, whom are both still among my top-5 favorites today.

Anyway, when I first saw Seviper, I immediately loved it’s bad-ass design, and it’s been my favorite Pokémon ever since.

I love cats. My favourite pokemon is not a cat. In fact, I don’t have a favourite pokemon. I love them all!

:cat: I love cats. My favourite pokemon is also not a cat. I do appreciate the cat pokemon a whole heck of a lot tho (and Sprigatito is fantastic, in my humble opinion as a cat-mom and a plant-mom lol). :seedling:

:hedgehog: I really love hedgehogs (stemming back to a bit of an inside joke from high school) I have a few hedgehog items around my house including a toothbrush holder :face_with_hand_over_mouth: So yeah, I love Shaymin a lot for that (plus, y’know, the plant bit).

:deer: I love deer a lot too, so, Deerling is great. Like hedgehogs, I also have a lot of deer items around my house. I was chatting with a friend yesterday about how much we love the seasons and living somewhere where we can experience them properly! So a seasonal deer is just top notch!

My love for Azumarill has no connection to my favourite animals lol. Marill was just on my very first team in XY (I named him Colbin), and he was one of the first pokemon I caught in the wild, and the first pokemon I ever leveled up to 100, as well. :blue_heart:

(I think most of my other favourites are just plants and flowers haha)

Alpacas are my favourite animal and I’m still waiting on an alpaca Pokemon…

I do have a dachshund mix dog though so Dachsbun quickly became a favourite of mine haha

Well, my favourite Pokémon I´m not so sure, but I do think I like Jellicent a lot because I´m fascinated with deep sea creatures, and it´s based off of Stygeomedusa.

For the gamers among us, I actually used to have an Espeon baton passing stat boosts (Z Celebration) to a Jellicent, making it pretty much a win condition; Max Speed/Max HP, Substitute, Recover, Scald, Ice Beam.

I love water gliders. It always feels amazing seeing them stride on the surface of H20. And uniquely enough that clearly affected my love towards surskit.. Hoenn is the best region for this reason. It like satisfied almost everyone’s favorite mons by introducing a great bunch…

I wouldn’t really say it ever has as none have been the #1 favorite, but I do get happy seeing dog Pokemon and was excited for Finizen/Palafin as I like Dolphins.

I guess Mega Audino/Audino is kind of bunny-ish but hard to say.

I’ll try to explain my favourites based on the 3 names I’ve included in recent Secret Santa applications.

Lugia: while it’s based on dragons I keep thinking of it anytime I see swans doing fly by, both are always a majestic sight.

Blastoise: never seen a turtle irl but they are cool creatures and so are the people who help hatchlings reach water safely on many beaches.

Umbreon: black cats have bad reputation for no good reason, this one even comes with bunny ears and glowing onion rings attached to its body.
