QotD: Everyone has some, where is the “jank but it works” in your Pokemon collection?

Jank- Something of poor or questionable quality, associated with glitches, general sense of unreliability. In gaming: Nonsensical, unfair, or frustrating.
Seedily sourced cards but they inexplicably grade 10s? Team doesnt work on paper but in a match it surprisingly works? Organization methods that are a mystery to everyone but yourself? Risky buying habits that somehow have led to great positives?
