It’s what you do with a trading card … it’s utterly irrelevant whether the buyer lists for 2X the moment after or 100X 5 years down. You as a buyer have a decision to make - buy or do something else with your $. Nothing stops you from doing the 2X yourself if as you say, the card is that rare.
