PSA slab thickness pic - paranoid after ebay 1 feedback

i bought a card from a 1-feedback seller.

maybe im just paranoid for that reason but it does not fit inside gradedpower’s acrylic psa cases like all my other slabs.

these two slabs have the same logo/font/psa case style and close serials, but one is fairly thicker than the other.

nothing else seems off and card does indeed look like a 10.

can anyone comment? anyone have cards that dont fit in graded powers acrylic? thank you in advance

what are the cert numbers for each?

“Close”

How close? PSA has changed their thicccness a lot. Did you check the cert in their database for the card in question?

PSA has changed their case no less than 10 times since inception. Here is a full list of the different PSA style cases, and how to detect fakes.

yes both check out on psa site

they both are PSA FLIP TYPE 9

I have noticed the large variability in slab thicknesses as well, while designing new 3D printed stands for my cards. It seems legit to me. Would be better if you had some calipers or something so I could compare measurements.

thank you. i will make this an excuse to buy one maybe

Analyzing the case is great but before that is there any reason to believe the card shouldn’t match the holder or is inauthentic in any way?

nothing in that regard led me to look at the case.

i only got suspicious when it didnt fit in the acrylic cases i keep certain cards in

now the closer i look and in the picture too, it seems the actual front shell is thicker than the other one too. versus initially thinking it wasnt compressed as much as the other one.

i am thinking i am ok now
