Just had an email through saying all international submissions are cancelled until further notice.
I run a graded store in the UK so currently rather worried. Fingers crossed they find a resolution to this quickly as no actual sale takes place and the cards are owned by the submitter throughout.

I saw on FB this morning that the authorised dealers should be able to continue operating after applying for a new license.
Not a great solution to your/everyone in the UK’s issue, but a solution nonetheless. Hoping things get resolved quickly
It will be interesting to see if those of us in the collectors club that submit directly get any reprieve.
After what happened at Ludkins I had vowed never to use a middleman company again.

I’m in a similar position! I can use a middle man but definitely not my preference after Ludkins fiasco.

Basically, PSA have no idea what the process is because orange man hasn’t been clear with or if anything will have exemptions.
A lot of businesses, both US and international will incur losses from this.

Is the main office in Toronto?

It can be! The market is big enough to handle 2 offices!

Can…can you install some kiosks? Would they count as satellite ‘offices?’ Asking for a friend, his name is Gat.

BGS and ACE have a really good chance of taking over the EU marketplace. I hope they do well.

For the first time in my collecting time I consider sending my cards to Beckett. They have a European grading division. Cards stay in Europe.
While I do have access to a USA shipping account + I can drop of my cards at a USA dealer (at collect a con) my account won’t let me do anything.

Speaking of which:

They just announced that they will still take orders from anyone… and add the tariffs to the submitters’ bills.

If I want to grade with Beckett I can use the EU facility, no need to ship them overseas.
It’s kind of stupid you have to pay duties/taxes on something which is not staying in that particular country but will return to it’s owner.
If I send cards for appraisal (which is what it’s called) overseas, they will not change ownership. They stay mine and will return to me.

No update yet if PSA will still be making it to London Card Show next month. Might be my only way to a do a direct submission for a while

Still no update from PSA, surely they should give us in the collectors club the option to submit directly still as long as we pay the import fees
PSA told some UK middlemen they will accept via their Canadian set up.
The Sub Center puts enough in that they are being used as a customs guinea pig
