I’ve heard that PSA is no longer encapsulating altered cards? AKA no more authentic altered labels?
Is that true?
I haven’t seen any new policies come out, but their website is clear that AA is always at the discretion of the grader.
Yeah I saw that too but probably that’s just for cards had already been slabbed?
No, those designations are for active grading. They can choose to kick it out or to slab it as authentic altered I guess.
I had one done recently (less than 6 months ago) and they told me I had to put in the notes of the order that altered label was okay (I knew it was altered before sending)
