Moved this to its own thread.
After giving it a closer look, this is a fake card. The font is off. Look at the number “006” in the bottom right hand corner.
As well as the font in the pokemon description, and throughout the card. Here is a comparison to a real copy:

WOW. Wonder if the condition was any help in letting it through? Also having someone like D&A sell it is crazy.

Thanks for the replies! So it wasn’t just me seeing ghosts… Seems like a pretty obvious and easy to identify fake, strange that PSA did not catch it.

Isnt this a big problem with psa yu gi oh too. Lots of fakes get through?
I have no idea just recall seeing a video somewhere on it.
Based on a couple of things I’ve seen in the last few days, PSA should consider dropping the “P” and the “A” from their name.

Looks like they relisted it with a real copy. When I initailly clicked the link this is the copy I saw and I thought to myself “this doesn’t look fake, what are they talking about.” Then I saw Smpratte comparison. LOL
It’s not fake.
It’s the mosaic variant, rarer than no rarity. The true 1st Edition.

How on earth does Dave and Adams keep getting a hold of fake PSA graded cards? First yugioh and then this? I get that they are a huge card company, but seems like they are the only company I’ve ever seen plagued with this kind of issue.
No joke I’ve done one single PSA transaction with them, and immediately I got an email stating a few of the graded cards I’ve purchased are reproductions, and if I want to purchase them anyways.
If I got that same email I’d be demanding a refund pronto…that’s so sketchy
