PSA Discussion

Back of the line champ, day 45 has come and gone for me… =p

Do your guys show up as special #8?

Mine shows up as special #8 for the 30-day turnaround option, and the 50 day one is showing up as special #3.

Special #7 for my 50 days and #8 for my 30 days.

#8 for my 30 day

#7 for my 1972

If you did anything higher than the 50 day bulk service such as paying $1 or so more per card, I have heard that they will charge the lower rate if they miss the estimated turnaround time. Has anyone had experience with this? I.e. this month paying $7 per card for 30 days if it gets to 31 business days call them and ask that they charge it at the 50 business day rate. Never experienced first hand but heard it has happened, I forget where.

That’s interesting.

I’m sure PSA would be more accountable for a first in first out if they were punished financially for these funny scenarios where some people wait two months and others wait a few days on the same service level.

They should implement the Beckett model.

Day 48 for me

After waiting all this time I hope we all get some amazing returns. Nothing hurts more than to wait a long time only to get bad grades.

Slow clap to PSA. Complete 2 of my orders that are 13/30 days in and still have my 50 day orders sitting at 48 days…

I actually can’t even process how this works. Frustrating!!!

You should call them and ask. I don’t know what the forum or the rest of the Internet can do to help.

There is no point calling when they are still within their time limits, that being said, Tuesday is only a few days away.

The point of my frustration, in the PSA thread discussing this point, is that how does this even happen…

Their customer service is top notch. I actually spoke with an individual there, ironically named “Scott” and he explained why they needed to increase the grading service for a higher end item I submitted. Initially I thought it was PSA doing a money grab, but the reasoning was concise.

Basically it can’t hurt to call and see what they say. After calling them it felt much better, and I completely understood the reasoning.

why dont you give BGS a shot. you grade GEM mint only cards, there brand new and all of them will get the black label… In the future this will be worth twice as much as a psa 10. Not to mention you will have what others whish they did when they had these cards mint. XY cards are very very popular and extremely pretty imagine what people will pay when there all dried up.

Id agree with this.
BGS is always right on the day hence those prone to frustration over turnaround times can use them:)
The down side is you’ll never get quicker turnarounds though if it’s late, it’s free.

Not really interested in changing companies when my frustration is completely warranted.

It doesn’t make any sense that orders approaching estimate are being left behind to orders well under timeframe.

If you think this is normal business practice, then I would suggest just having a think about why I am frustrated.
