I just bought 10 of those Saftgard ones. I don’t really care about the quality. I just need to stand them up on my shelf. I figure I’ll display my “10 of the month” or something. Rotate them around. I really want one of those Liongoods boxes but they’re $100 on eBay now. Way too much for a box.
I think that I already have too many to display (for my own personal taste) and my checklist is probably not even half completed. On the other hand I do think it is a shame for them not to be on display at the same time so I don’t really know. I have thought about framing some of the sets together (16~ per frame) but it all depends on having a good place for them and for them not to be too overbearing.
I fear that the best place I can find for many of them will be a box…
Framing them would be a good idea. I’d lay them out how you will frame them and just ponder over it. I can see them maybe becoming overbearing.
I just hate seeing peoples’ collections in boxes. Since I don’t have room, my entire 20th ann. collection is in huge totes in my closet. My plushies are in totes. EVERYTHING in is totes and I hate it! That is why I need a whole room dedicated to my collection. xD
I’m going to get a bunch of those cheap ones, and then perhaps 6 or 9 official PSA ones in the future when I have a place to display a handful at a time.
It does Debating if I want to print in translucent next or not. My friend did this one with .3 layer height just to bang one out to see how it was and it looks good. What layer height did you do yours in? is that white or translucent?
