As someone who bought an entire PSA 9 crystal set (reverse+holo) in 2018 minus the holo charizard, I’m down 20%+ on them all, with some (I’m looking at you reverse Celebi) down in price much more. I’m holding them long-term, but now seems a good time to buy compared to just 6 months ago.

Crystals are kind of downtrending except for Zard and Ho-oh I feel like. I’ve managed to scoop up PSA 10s in:
Reverse Crobat - under $100
Reverse golem - ~$110
Reverse Celebi - ~$250
Celebi - ~$460
So I’m not mad what so ever, even if they continue to fall for a bit, I see no issue in these rising again as they are the chase cards. Plus I feel like they are the some of cards people are flipping most often So I’m just waiting for them to cement themselves in collections.
A lot of high end set cards have dropped in the past 6 months.
This isn’t directed at anyone, it’s just really good advice for newer collectors who might be reading this:
If these price fluctuations worry you then you shouldn’t be buying these cards.
Be a collector before an investor.
