PSA 10 card has an obvious indent

What do you guys think of this apparent indent? Are these commons on Lv X and EX cards? I was really bummed and am considering a return, but I wanted to all your thoughts. Is this an indent or just a common printing smudge? I am new to PSA 10s and Lv x and Ex cards, so I am outside my element here.

Pics have been uploaded. Hopefully the link works

I’m just going to guess before you upload the picture that this is a Lv. X tin promo, in which case yes the cards were held in the tin by 4 little plastic nubs that essentially damaged every card that touched them. The top and bottom edges usually come with those dents.

Hopefully I guessed what you’re describing correctly.

Images have been uploaded. @miraclegro, this card is from a booster pack. I appreciate the input though!

Damn I got it wrong lol.

I had a lot of Lv. X cards in the past and to my knowledge this wasn’t any sort of recurring issue. Just seems like PSA missed the damage (or potentially damaged the card during encapsulation). I’m sure under this a big argument will unfold about whether it’s the seller’s responsibility to disclose the damage and that you should return it vs. people saying PSA is accountable etc. There also might be a 4xx cert meme to make. Overall it sucks that you got a card that is damaged… someone with more experience dealing with this might be better to help you navigate. Hope it works out for you either way.

I buy grades not cards. You did good. Congrats on your PSA 10

I guess this is kind of a crease/indent ya, guess not PSA 10 standard, if you paid premium I would return it, if not keep it

I agree on this but also a bit harsh. It would make a buyer feel comfortable purchasing a PSA 10 on eBay and knowing the card doesn’t have any indents.

That’s part of the beauty about 3rd party grading companies is you can rely on the consistency of the grades without actually seeing the card in hand. Not everyone has the luxury to inspect a card by hand that’s in a holder. That goes without saying some of the horrible quality photos used on eBay we have to deal with. Sure you can always ask for high quality images of every corner and edge of the card but are you really going to do that?

At the end of the day a PSA 10 should not have a problem like this.
