So it attracts people to the shop where they may have a lot of easy to move low value cards priced just about right. I do exactly that and it works well, I always keep at least one of the most sought after Charizards on the shop at double the market price for this very reason.
On top of that, once every blue moon a market record offer comes in for these items when the availability is low and someone really wants it.
I find it quite amusing that so many people can’t figure this out, I receive a question about the high prices every couple of days on eBay.

That’s what I was curious about, especially whether a seller would be an out-of-the-blood insane offer, which would therefore result in a market standard price.
