Price for 1st Edition Neo Discovery?

When you consider a 1st ed neo rev and 1st ed neo genesis sells for 15k at auction, a neo discovery at 13k doesnt seem too cheap.

That’s still pretty insane given how difficult it is to come across that box, alongside Genesis, Revolution and Skyridge ~

Yeah I guess you’re right… seeing as the deal flow is limited, I remember when this popped up on CC I looked into the solds and listed and if I’m not mistaken it had been a while one had sold, so then I checked Heritage since I know I saw it sell in the first week of July auction and when you account for the buyer’s premium vs. CC 13k vs. currently listed - eBay fees (if you’re the seller) it just all levels out to pretty even lol so it seems its what current market price would be for that box is something like 12-13

Looks like the 12k box is probably going to be a Box Break. And the 13k one sold too, I think to the same buyer!

I have bought boxes off Joe and done some decent trading and they have always been polite and reasonable when emailed directly.
I bought one of the three 1st ed destinys they had listed in January at a discount after some to and fro at a fair price.
DAC is a business needing to pay overheads and supporting livelihoods so of course you aren’t going to get steals, they know the asking price is beyond what anyone will pay, Joe has said this openly on virbank and other pages when advertising product, he knows the prices are outrageous though if something’s listed at current market and its snapped up immediately thats potential lost income to a business needing to make profit…

That’s a very good point ~

But hey: it’s very important, as if one of those sells then you could arguably create the case of it being the standard price.

Nah was talking about trade in value to buy his WOTC boxes. He offered me $800 for each of my 5 1st ed base set blisters 2 months ago when I was trying to trade for a 1st ed jungle box he had. I said “you’re kidding right?” He said “no it’s the best I could do”. Again he’s uninformed at times and obviously doesn’t know the market that well as he offered me about 67% less than what I could of sold on eBay at the time.

lootbox on ig is selling packs of this set at $550. Yes, they are selling.

He’s not uninformed he just wants to make a lot of profit on that trade ha

He gave me a decent deal on my aquapolis packs but I decided to just go forward with ebay sales and I ended up making more than his offer already and havent even sold them all yet. Its really about how much work you wanna do

isn’t that life in general? you buy the cut up pieces of poultry at a supermarket for 4.99 a pound, or you can try to raise your own chicken…just as an extreme example.

it’s how much you value your time and the experience/effort of doing something yourself.

Lol ya he was trying to make a quick buck. However, he needs to be more informed on how to make Pokémon deals as he 100% thought I didn’t know how valuable my stuff was I was trying to sell. I can’t stand low ball offer people.

Thats a nice margin

Still curious why people are listing these boxes for such a price …
