Price check: PSA 8 1st Edition Typhlosion 17

Hey guys,

I’m trying to figure out what fair value is for a PSA 8 1st edition Neo Genesis Typhlosion 17. I have seen recent sales on eBay go for 300 and 340 (BIN) as well as 162.5 and 182.5 (Auction). That’s a pretty big discrepancy so wanted to get your thoughts.

I’ve recently sold a PSA 8 Unlimited copy of this card for $125 so my guess would be at least double that. IMO the card market is in a real weird place right now because of the overall scarcity in the amount of available listings for chase cards like this.

Okay wow great info. Seems the 8 has gone up a lot and it does suggest the 1st edition would be 250+. Saw this recently listed on eBay, will be interesting to see how it goes!

@merov1,That one listed is mine. I think the true value is $1000. jk. thought it would go between 190-240. However, there has been a lot of interest in it and “typhlosion 17” is the buzz word at the moment.
