Price Check - PSA 7-8 1st Ed. Base Set Charizards

Hi everyone. Was just wondering if I could get some good opinions on the prices of these cards:
-PSA 7 1st Ed. Base Charizard
-PSA 8 1st Ed. Base Charizard

I am looking to purchase one and want to get a good feel for what I should pay. Thanks for any and all help!

8’s are just north of $1,000 and 7’s are a bit south of there. 7’s and 8’s vary a lot in eye appeal. A lot more than typically a 9 or a 10 would. So you can pay ranges in there for what some may consider “better” or “worse” 7’s/8’s.

Plenty of sales on eBay to determine the prices.

So far what I’v seen for the PSA 8s are around $900-1.1k on ebay auctions and 7s for $700-900. From personally searching on ebay for an 8 to buy for a friend, I would say $1k or lower would be a great price on ebay! A lot of people I spoke to wouldn’t go below 1100.
