Price check - Fossil 3rd print run 1999-2000

Hey all

Just wanted some indication of price on the following i found in my bulk when i was sorting through it.

1999-2000 Hitmonlee Fossil Non holo rare
1999-2000 Raichu Fossil Non holo rare
1999-2000 Gengar Fossil non holo rare

These are glossy and i would say light play due to some whitening on the back.

Thanks in advance for any help

Raichu could be found in the Thunderstorm Theme Deck, so that one is a lot lower than the rest. Those usually go for 20-25 USD in NM condition (I see one available for 19 USD on the Australian eBay right now, and I’ve bought one last year for 15 USD as well).

Other 1999-2000 Fossil non-Holo Rares usually go for 100-200 USD in NM condition, although the Gengar and Dragonite usually go higher since they’re the most popular. I see a recent sold listing of a Muk for 120 AUD (~86 USD) buyout. I also see a recent sold listing of a Gengar for 2k AUD (~1440 USD) accepted best offer, although I would be very surprised if this is a legit sale… :confounded:

Since you mentioned LP condition, I’d estimate roughly 17.50 USD for the Raichu; 100 USD for the Hitmonlee; and 250 USD for the Gengar.
But this is just a guess. Could be more or less. They aren’t sold too often unfortunately, so it’s hard to put a price on them. It might be best to just put it up for a high Buyout price with Best Offer enabled and see what offers you get.

I agree with @Quuador . It really depends on a buyer/seller agreement. The rares do not pop up for sale often, except Raichu.

I know @djgigabyte and I think @gemmintpokemon collect them so they may be able to help with valuations.

Yeah, curious of the price of a NM Zapdos ~

I assume you’re talking about the non-holo Zapdos here? The ©1999-2000 Cosmos Holofoil Zapdos also comes from the Thunderstorm theme deck, and I see a couple available for ~20 USD on both the Australian and UK eBays.

Hey

I meant the holo Zapdos  But ah, it comes from the Thunderstorm deck - thanks :3

Just realise I have a non-holo Raichu, which I presume is from the same deck? ~

Rares are tough to find since packs are up there & rares blend in. Imo, they should be $100 minimum in any condition. That’s based on rarity. Of course not many people collect, so you’ll get good deals with enough patience.

Gengar has sold >3k in a 10 a few times. A 46 card complete ungraded set changed hands for over 10k this year (buyer & seller may chime in on the exact # - both on E4).

I’m still looking for 3 rare 10s & would pay $500-$1000/each for reference.

Thanks gemmintpokemon really helpful info there, might keep the gengar as I have a gengar binder collection and just put the hitmonlee up on ebay and see if I get any offers. Thanks again

Someone would pay over 1k for gengar
