I have a feeling the answer is going to be along the lines of “whatever you can get it for” but does anyone have any personal appraisals of what they would put this card at right now? There has been so few public listings and I haven’t been able to find word of any private sale prices.
Also curious about personal opinions of a PSA 9 1st edition card vs a PSA 10 shadowless for the long term (In general not just with Blastoise). I know back around when I stopped collecting in 19’ there was a lot of talk about Shadowless on the old forum.
There is a recent auction of a PSA 10 Shadowless Blastoise on PWCC, about a week ago. It went for $6,300. Barring anything unique to that specific card (grade worthiness perception, etc.), it’s probably a pretty decent estimate of current market value.
Well hot damn somehow I didn’t see that one when I was looking. That’s kind of the ballpark I was thinking just based on the peak pandy price and the last ones.
With buyer premium it’s not actually too far off from one I’m looking at.
EDIT Ah I forgot I need to change the auction type from live to closed when searching this way. I was just selecting the closed auctions only.
