Potential Error Pokemon Card

For those of you reading this tread I was going through my bucket of Pokemon cards and came across my Kakuna 4/108. I typed it in and noticed that most people on EBay, Mercari, and TCGplayer had the 6/108 card and I just typed in “4/108 Pokemon card” and it showed Metapod. My card is indeed a Kakuna 4/108. Please someone let me know if this is an error card and potentially how much I should sell it for.

Do you have a picture (or link to a picture) of your card, both front and back? It’s most likely just a fake to be honest - which are having wrong names or set symbols/numbers pretty often.

The card is fake unfortunately

That looks fake. The font is slightly off, and the second move should be Poison Powder, not Poison Sting.

Damn. I got them from a pack, I noticed before that the set looked a bit off. That sucks because I got so hyped over my Flying Pikachu but looking at it again it does instead look fake because of the font and set :/. Anyways, thank you all. I would’ve put it on eBay without knowing.

That sucks. When did you get the pack?

Fake, and a bad one at that. Cardstock and font are both wrong.

GUYS! Not a fake card at all. It’s from evolutions. The reprint of base set from 2016.

It’s 100% a fake card from Evolutions lol, the font is way off and it has the wrong set number.

Lol, you are definitely correct. My bad, I just figured people were thinking base set

They didn’t even get the second attack name right. They somehow got Poison Sting instead of Poison Powder. The attack’s effect paralyzing instead of poisoning its target. Height of 2’01" instead of 2’00". Also no rarity symbol. Illustrated by Ken Sugimori instead of Keiji Kinebuchi. Did they actively put effort into making as many mistakes as possible?

Why anyone would go to the effort of making a fake evolutions common is beyond me, the mistakes are even funnier

Evolutions is considered vintage now lol

That is a contender for the worst fake card ever made.
