Wait weren’t UED Reviving Legends cards thought to be basically non-existent just about 1-2 years ago? I remember being a part of some thread on the forum where people tried finding any evidence of them actually existing. It could have been something else but it was definitely about this set in UED.
Edit: it was a thread regarding the booster packs/boxes, not the individual cards
You’ll be able to pick one up in a lower grade or ungraded very affordable, they’re not common but I don’t think they’re particularly rare Totodile isn’t exclusive art but I love the history/unique acquisition methods for these JP promos!
I think there is only 1 Clefairy per gift box if I recall. Same card can be found in the Vending Series, except they’re more ‘glossy’ finished while the Gift series is non-glossy finish. The Charizard and MTG cards are special from my childhood. Love the artworks as well. Not to mention they are fragile cards. Base 2 Charizard was the first Pokemon holo I pulled from a pack, so I had to get him in a nice grade.
These two would be mines, I have many other low pop and rare promos but pop is over 10.
I really like this card and I am happy owning 2 of the 8 PSA 10s graded
I also have a pop-6 BGS-P10 for the same card (pop-69 in total across all grades); a pop-3 BGS-9.5 for the corrected illustrator (with none graded higher). As well as the pop-15 (blue label) CGC perfect 10 for the error illustrator.
Pop-5 Japanese DBLE-JPS04 Starving Venom Fusion Dragon (OCG Extra Secret Parallel Rare)
I also have some < pop-10 foreign cards, like a pop-7 PSA-10 Korean 1st edition Base Set Haunter; pop-4 BGS-9.5 Spanish 1st edition Neo Genesis Pikachu; pop-4 BGS-9.5 Chinese EX Legend Maker Flygon ex; pop-1 (in any EG grade) EG-9 Spanish WotC #21 promo Moltres; etc.
Including misprints:
Pop-1 (in any BGS grade) BGS-6: English no stamp WotC promo Pikachu
I went through the pop of all my graded cards (the one I could find in the pop report at least; since the Korean Ancient Mew seems to be missing in the PSA-pop; MAP is out of business; and PCA lacks a pop report). I was actually surprised to see how high the pop was for some of the graded cards I own.
